Mental Health First, Wedding Plans Later: Justin Bieber and Hailey Baldwin’s Love Story

This singer and his recently wedded bride have decided to focus primarily on their mental health for the time being.

Justin Bieber and Hailey Baldwin got married in September 2018, in a secret courthouse ceremony. But as of this moment, they are in no rush to organize a more substantial wedding celebration for their friends and family. To the couple, Bieber’s mental health needs to be their top priority right now. Hailey understands this very well and is ready to support her husband.

A source reaffirmed the above by telling PEOPLE that “Hailey keeps supporting him. They will still have a wedding when they feel they are ready. The most important thing for them is that Justin is mentally healthy.”

Bieber earlier revealed to his fans that he had been struggling with his mental health. Via an Instagram message in March 2019, the star opened up to his followers saying, “I am now very focused on repairing some of the deep rooted issues that I have as most of us have, so that I don’t fall apart, so that I can sustain my marriage and be the father I want to be.”

We assume that once the famous singer fully recovers from his current mental predicament, plans for the wedding will naturally follow suit. Bieber began his therapy sessions for depression in February 2019, and the good news is that he’s starting to show improvements. His fans have been very supportive and understanding of the singer’s condition. They’ve also shown him a lot of love since his return to the music scene.

Hailey Baldwin indeed is playing a significant role in helping Bieber get back on track, and both seem to understand each other as well as their responsibilities. “He wants to be the best possible husband for Hailey,” a source revealed to PEOPLE. And “he’s working on himself so that he can be a good partner…”
