Prince Harry and Jane Goodall teaming up to inspire a sustainable future.

The Duke of Sussex and the legendary Jane Goodall are teaming up to work towards guaranteeing a sustainable future.

Prince Harry has always shown a keen interest in environmentalism, particularly in the sense of getting the youth involved, making this a crucial part of his work as a royal.

The prince announced his next environmental project which takes a community-based initiative and is launching in September with the help of the Sussex Royal Charity.

As a part of his work for environmentalism, Prince Harry attended the Roots & Shoots global leadership meeting in Windsor with environmentalist icon Dr. Jane Goodall.

Young people around the world gathered at the event to deliver their conservation presentations to the prince with topics ranging from climate change to pollution. The Prince also gave his own speech before speaking with some of the youth representatives about their conservation campaigns and plans.

Goodall is holding the week-long global leadership meeting to empower young people to make a difference for the environment. There were several students at the event from a total of 26 countries who were all selected by Goodall to join the week-long course where they partake in classes before sharing their personal projects.

Prince Harry and Dr. Goodall first met at Kensington Palace, where they instantly clicked after she was impressed by his conservation work in Africa. The pair met again at Frogmore House after the birth of Harry’s son Archie which is where the idea for the Prince to join the Roots and Shoots project was born.

Now that he is a father changing the world for the better is probably even more important to Prince Harry. So here’s to many more environmental projects in the future, for little Archie, for his entire generation, and for generations to come.
