These British TV Personalities Have Eye-Popping Salaries That Could Make Anyone Feel Jealous!

 Fiona Bruce – Between £405K to £409,999

The BBC reveals its hosts’ annual salaries, including Fiona Bruce, who has been with the company since her research days. She worked her way up the ladder, so she is expected to rake in a lot of money from her presenting stints. With over three decades in the biz, she previously said that her profession often stole family time.

According to Express, Bruce’s salary was somewhere between £405,000 to £409,999 in 2021 on the BBC, making her one of the highest paid in the network. However, her 2020 figures were much higher at £450,000 to £454,999. Still, this is something she should be proud of!

Holly Willoughby – £730K

It is hard to imagine “This Morning” without Holly Willoughby. After all, she worked with Phillip Schofield for a long time, cementing their status as the ultimate presenting duo on British TV. They almost all earn the same amount, and according to Liverpool Echo, this blonde broadcaster received £730K every year.

Although Willoughby is pretty financially stable with a £10-million fortune, she was previously paid less. In 2017, we later found that she was only being given £400K, not nearly as high when compared to her colleagues’ 600K. Luckily, the network bosses increased her to level the playing field among hosts.

Richard Madeley – At Least £200K

“Good Morning Britain” host Richard Madeley isn’t one to back down from the challenges of “I’m A Celebrity … Get Me Out Of Here.” However, he eventually left the competition in 2022 due to health issues, but still, he got paid a hefty amount of £200K to participate. Of course, this was just from one project, and then there are Madeley’s other gigs.

The columnist is also said to earn £300K from his work on “Good Morning Britain” after he replaced Piers Morgan as a presenter. Suffice it to say, Madeley has indeed come a long way from his first job as a newspaper staff in Romford, Essex.

Amanda Holden – £850K

“Britain’s Got Talent” probably wouldn’t be how it is today without Amanda Holden, one of the long-time judges on the talent search. With over 15 years in the program, it is not surprising that she commands a high salary. In fact, this is reportedly the reason why she had a row with the execs in January 2023.

Sources said Holden didn’t sign her contract because a newcomer Bruno Tonioli, who hosted “Strictly Come Dancing,” was reportedly earning as much as her. This came a few weeks before the show started, so it caused quite a stir among the program’s production staff.

Phillip Schofield – £2 million

As one of the most recognizable faces on British TV, Phillip Schofield earns a respectable £2 million a year. He is best known for being one of the hosts of “This Morning,” which reportedly gives him around £600K a year. However, this show is hardly his only source of income.

According to Leeds Live, his “We Buy Any Car” advertisements certainly rake in cash for him. But of course, the morning program may be one of, if not the biggest money-making project he has. It is said that Schofield is the highest-paid in the show, which is understandable because he has become a familiar face.
