A Lazy Person’s Guide to Stay Fit for Good!

Everyone is asking this one question to themselves, how can I get fit fast? Well, we all know that we need a shortcut to a fit body. Let’s have it straight. Nobody wants to work hard to get flat abs or chiseled torso or bulging biceps. It can be tough if you feel too lazy to work out. And then there are the exercises. It’s too hot to walk, too cold even to think running or gym membership is just too expensive. So, you want to have it easy and not work too hard and still get fit? Well, here are some top tips to stay fit forever.
Try and Put in the 10s
Try to include at least ten push-ups and ten sit-ups every day. Even if you aren’t doing back to back, you still need to put in the minutes. Even if you cannot invest in hours, you can invest in 10 minutes every day. Once you get those minutes in, you can gradually increase the time frame.
Stand Up for Every Hour
We all know how sitting is the new smoking, also staying hunched over your computer day in and day out cannot be your idea of staying fit. So, listen to your aching limbs and get up every once in a while. Try to include more movements while at it, such as going to the toilet, making tea, or just walking around and coming back to your desk to resume working.
Make Those Walks Count
Even if the weather outside seems extremely hot or cold, try to sneak in at least 20 minutes of walk every day. You don’t have to be too ambitious and don’t need to walk for an hour or so. Just add 20 minutes and do it without fail. Sometimes it is the consistency of your workouts that counts. It can make a huge difference to your health and happiness. Even walking your dog can help.
Home Workouts Can Work
You don’t need to leave your house to sneak in a solid workout. There are many accessible exercises and home workouts that you can do right from your living room, and you don’t even have to spend money to reach your gym. Just a few workouts inside the comfort of your living room, such as tricep dips and some lunges, and work those abs, and you are good to go.
Go The Tabata Way
You may have just five minutes on your hand and can download the Tabata timer app for an effective workout. A Tabata workout includes 20 seconds on and 10 seconds off, making for a perfect high-intensity workout that promises fitness and weight-loss benefits. You can try things like running for 20 seconds and then walking for another 10, or skip for 20 and take a break for another 10. This way, you can add other workouts such as burpees, mountain climbers, or even the plank, and you will get the best workout. Tabata training increases your metabolism and increases your heart rate immediately. Soon, you will get great results.
Run-on a Song
Instead of being too ambitious and then feeling awful that you cannot work out when it does not come out all come together, You can make your workouts more fun as you run on the length of one song. Make all your minutes count as you run for at least 3.5 minutes. So, download all of your favorite albums and start by running on them. Soon you’ll be marathon-ready.
Switching Off
It isn’t just the exercise. It is daily lives that can have a real impact on our health and wellbeing. So, include enough sleep that is key to being fit, and the devices may not help you in the long run, and you should find out more ways to get better rest.
There you go. Maintaining a fit life is not too difficult. All you have to do is stay committed to the routine and make it an integral part of your lifestyle. Even if you don’t have too much time on your hands, you can still exercise, lose weight, and stay fit. Remember staying active throughout the day is essential, so move more, sit less and stay fit, the lazy way, or not so lazy way.
